In 1997, Gassan El Rahbani came up with the idea to form a group of 4 female singers due to the fact that the Arab world lacks to such kind of groups. After a long and hard time searching for the perfect girls, he finally sets his choice on the 4 actual members of the group relying on their talent, musical knowledge and beauty.

But that’s not all, their equal down to earth simplicity, their civilized and international look combined with Elias RAHBANI music and lyrics give them a unique and distinguished difference from all other Arab singers.
After releasing the live concert in Cairo on New Year’s Eve 1998-1999; from that day on they traveled throughout most of the Arab world performing live concerts they even reached the United Kingdom where they performed one live concert first clip "A’CHRA, HDA’CH, TNA’CH" in 1998, their journey to conquer the world started. They made their first concert in July 1999.
Their first album was "TIC-TICK", released in mid.1998. The songs were originally composed by Elias RAHBANI and re-arranged by Gassan RAHBANI in a whole new style to meet with the demands of the new generation. Two video clips were made from this first album "YA NASSINI and KAN EL-ZAMAN"; it is unquestionable that the two clips and songs were the hits of the years 1998-1999. This first album sold more than one million copies in the Arab world and stayed as number one in the Arabic top charts for more than four months referring to Arab magazine statistics.
Their second album "LAYL NHAR" was released in the mid. 2000. The video clip "LAYL NHAR", music and lyrics by Gassan Rahbani, the choreography and dance were made by "Kimberley Morrow" one of the best dancers who appeared in Will Smith?s hit video clip "WILD WILD WEST". Kim was brought especially from the States in order to train the 4 Cats for three new songs taken from their latest album. Shortly after, In November 2000, they released their second clip from the same album "MABAA’ IYDA" (music and lyrics by Gassan RAHBANI).
Their third album "TAL INTIZARI" was released early 2002. Two video clips were shot from this album: the first one was "TAL INTIZARI" music & lyrics by Gassan RAHBANI; shot in Dubai duet with Gassan. The second clip is "RAH HIBAK AA TOUL" music & lyrics by Jad RAHBANI.
Their forth album called "YA ANTAR" was a successful hit through its main song "AAMELI ANTAR" and video. The second Video from "YA ANTAR" album was the song "MECHE ETTOFNISS" music & lyrics by Gassan RAHBAN.
The fith album is called "EDDINYE HEYK" was released November 2005, with 2 videos 1st "EDDINYE HEYK" the 2nd "NEHNA MNESROUK" was shot at BIEL - Beirut - Lebanon during the World Motor Show .
