Gunfire broke out in accross Lebanon Thursday 8th of May 2008 right after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that the recent actions of the lebanese government is a declaration of open war.

• More than Seven people were killed on the first day of the 2008 civil war in Lebanon. due to fierce clashes which took place between government supporters and members of Hezboullah opposition.
